Drop the puck, the NHL is back! Rogers Arena, the home of the Vancouver Canucks, will once again rattle and shake as our favourite hockey stars race up and down the ice, speeding after the frozen black puck, and crashing any opponent who tries to stand in their way. The Vancouver Canucks first home game of this shortened campaign will be on Saturday January 19 2013, as the Anaheim Ducks visit.

The BEST WESTERN PLUS Chateau Granville Hotel in downtown Vancouver has long been home away from home to many a National Hockey League fan. We are located within easy walking distance to Rogers Arena, and our unbeatable location on Granville Street in the heart of Vancouver’s Entertainment District provides the perfect backdrop for both before, and after game activities.

Of course our own Edge Social Grille and Lounge is also an ideal place to catch all the high speed hockey action. Every game night this season, the Edge will be featuring a special from a menu of delicious casual fine dining choices. Sit back and watch the game on our big screen televisions, while you enjoy a leisurely meal in comfortable surroundings.

It’s not just hockey fans who stay with us at our fabulous downtown location. Whatever the season, whatever the sport, whatever the show, we are so close to both BC Place Stadium and Rogers Arena, that it really is hard to beat all the advantages to staying with us at the BEST WESTERN PLUS Chateau Granville in the center of downtown Vancouver. In fact, as the finest hotel in Vancouver’s Entertainment District, we are close to nearly all this city’s big ticket entertainment productions.

So whether it is the Canucks, the Whitecaps, the BC Lions, a concert at one of the stadiums or a club, or even the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra at the Orpheum Theatre just down the street from us, there is no better place to stay than here with us at the BEST WESTERN PLUS Chateau Granville.

Experience Vancouver, stay downtown.
