What is it about Cheesecake that is so addicting and keeps us coming back for more? I think once you’ve tasted the creamy vanilla flavour, sprinkled with crunchy graham crumbs you’ll realize what all the hype is about.
The effortlessly prepared Potted Cheesecake is a dessert that you would love to serve at your next party. By popular customer request, we are offering an easy step by step recipe straight from our kitchen at the Edge Social Grille and Lounge.
• Graham crumbs
• Melted Butter
Cream Cheese Filling
• 1lb Philly Cream Cheese, room temperature
• ½ cup White Sugar
• 2 tsp Vanilla
• 2 cup Whipping Cream
-Using a beater whip the cream until stiff.
-Thereafter transfer to a stainless bowl; set aside
-Using a beater whip the cream cheese until smooth.
-The next step is to add the sugar to the mixture and beat until light and fluffy.
-Be sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl and add the Vanilla.
-Gradually fold the cheese mixture into the whipped cream until uniformly incorporated
-Pipe the cream cheese into the jars. Tap the jars firmly to get rid of air bubbles.
-Next add the preserves and top with graham crust.
-Be sure to clean up the edges of the jars and flatten the crust.
