Summer is here Vancouver, and it is about to get a lot more interesting! Don’t let summer pass you by when the city is bustling with so many great events and festivals! We encourage you to embrace summer while you can, so here is an overview of summer festival and events in Vancouver.

1.FIFA Women’s World Cup- Enjoy Game day together

The FIFA women’s world cup is taking place, with the final in Vancouver on July 5th. We will have live screening of the games at the Edge Social Grille & Lounge! Come cheer on your favourite team with some good beer and appetizers. We have teamed up with Budweiser (Labatt) for a fun filled FIFA competition! Budweiser draught will be featured on game day at $5 a sleeve (16oz)! With each purchase you will receive a ticket with a chance to win a Whitecaps Jersey.

From June 26th-28th buskers will be replacing downtown traffic with laughing cheering crowds. Amazing street performers from all around Vancouver and the world will deliver comedy, circus, music in downtown Vancouver. Here is a full schedule of their performers. Happy Birthday Canada! July 1st is just around the corner. You will get the chance to experience a true Canadian celebration with many events taking place around the city.Granville Island has many activities for kids and adults, Canada place will be hosting a waterfront party and of course the not to be missed fireworks celebration!

From July 17-19, the 38th annual Vancouver Folk Music Festival presents 60 music acts from over 14 countries, ten US states, and seven provinces and territories at beautiful Jericho Beach Park. Join in on the fun.

The Honda Celebration of Light showcases Vancouver on the world stage and continues to be one of Vancouver’s best-known and most popular summer festivals. Celebrating it’s 25th year the International fireworks competition will be better than ever!The firework celebrations starts on July  25th with China showcasing their talents.  July 29th is Brazil and  the grand finale will be August 1st performed by Canada!
