What’s on this Easter in Vancouver
It’s hard to believe it’s nearly Easter, we are only recovering from the recent St. Patrick’s celebrations held in Vancouver!
Have you stocked up on your Easter eggs and hot cross buns? Have you plans made for Easter in Vancouver? We have outlined five activities that are taking place in the city to keep you and the family entertained!
1.Easter Train Stanley Park
The Easter Train ride opened in Stanley Park on March 19th and runs until March 28th from 10am to 5.00pm. After the train ride your kids will enjoy loads of fun Easter activities such as egg hunt, face painting etc. Rain or shine, the train will be running!
2.VanDusen Botanical Gardens
VanDusen Botanical Gardens have their egg hunt on Saturday, March 26th. You can choose from four different times, 10am, 11am, 12pm and 1pm. Your egg hunt tickets include free entry to the entire garden!
3.Flyover Canada Easter hunt
Visit the Easter bunny at Flyover Canada. Enjoy the Flyover Canada ride and then afterwards, enjoy a range of activities for the kids. The Easter egg hunt takes place on Easter Sunday, 27th March and Easter Monday, 28th March.
4.Easter at Grouse Mountain
Grouse Mountain will host their annual Easter brunch buffet on Sunday, March 27th. Enjoy a buffet brunch featuring delicious options for all ages plus face painting and an exciting Easter egg hunt led by the Easter Bunny!
Looking for a little break from all the Easter eggs, sign up for the Easter Fun Run on Sunday, March 27th. The run is a 5k run starting in Lumberman’s Arch, Stanley Park at 2pm with loads of fun events before and after the event. The money raised goes to Foundation 33, dedicated to helping families with children that have been affected by cancer. Check out their page for more details on this bunny fun run!
