The Iron lady of the hotel is the nickname we have given Imelda. She is our Executive Housekeeper. Believe it or not she is a mother of five children and proud grandma of three. Michelle Obama is highly educated, smart, and by many accounts as warm and gracious as she seems. She works tirelessly for her causes and inspires young women to be the change they want to see. She has shown me that having my voice heard is achievable.

My Mother is my inspiration. Living in Fiji, everyday was a struggle. She was left a widow at a young age and had the responsibility of raising five girls from the ages of 11 to 18. Her endless dedication and will power to survive for her children has made me the strong woman I am today.
Celebrating International Women’s Day with Sunita

Sunita has an exciting story to tell. Having migrated to Canada from Dubai, she has been exposed to many walks of life! Being a mother of two toddlers and currently holding the leadership position of the director of operations, she juggles many hats!
She has extensive experience in corporate sales, food & beverage, catering and has worked for many International hotel chains such as Moevenpick and luxury properties like Dusit Thani Dubai. Her experience, knowledge and enthusiasm is a great asset to the team and she is certainly an example for all young women, that it is possible to have a healthy family life and still reach for a career.
Who inspires you?
Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai. One of her quotes that speaks out to me is , “When the whole world is silent, even one voice becomes powerful”. I admire strong women who use their “power” for good. I also look up to people who remain grounded and don’t let fame go to their heads just like Malala.
