Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) is a theatrical tradition in Vancouver. This outdoor musical theatre production takes place from July 8 until August 17 2013, under the stars in Malkin Bowl in Stanley Park.

For the 2013 season, TUTS is featuring two shows on its calendar; Legally Blond, and How To Succeed In Business Without Even Trying. On most nights, the curtains rise at 8PM, with earlier starts on Fireworks nights. By the time the final curtain falls on the stars of the stage at plays’ end, the sky above Stanley Park will be dazzling with the brilliance of millions of celestial bodies.

Star for hotel

Theatre Under The Stars is a non- profit society that entertains audiences through popular musical theatre shows, while providing a terrific training ground to help in the development of amateur performers and technicians of all ages. Many theatre professionals have received valuable experience through Theatre Under The Stars. Only time will tell what future star of the stage may get their start with TUTS! If you know a young person who may be interested in the theatre, TUTS is excited to announce the dates for their 2013 Summer Musical Theatre Camps for kids – available for kids ages 8 to 18!

TUTS has been producing shows for summertime evening performances almost every year since the 1940’s. Contingency plans include volunteers on hand to distribute plastic ponchos to audience members in case of rain. Choice refreshments are also available, making a night of Theatre Under The Stars a particularly enjoyable experience.

The BEST WESTERN PLUS Chateau Granville Hotel in downtown Vancouver is the perfect place to spend a night after enjoying a performance of Theatre Under The Stars. As we are located in the heart of Vancouver’s famed Granville Street Entertainment District, there are many options available to help you to keep the fun going well into the night.
