Jericho Beach Park is the dreamlike setting for the Vancouver Folk Music Festival 2013, to be held on the weekend of July 19 to 21st.
Against the backdrop of the North Shore Mountains, and the sparkling waters of English Bay, thousands of music lovers will converge daily on the festival grounds at Jericho Beach Park.
The Vancouver Folk Music Festival has become a staple summertime festival in Vancouver since its inception in 1977.
Many renowned international artists have performed at the festival, including local favourites Tegan and Sara, British singer/songwriter Billy Bragg, and this year featuring another great lineup of local and international artists.
From the BEST WESTERN PLUS Chateau Granville hotel in downtown Vancouver, it is very easy to get to the festival grounds. The #4 UBC bus takes you from downtown Vancouver right to the main festival gates in about 20 minutes! You can travel back and forth from your hotel room to the festival grounds with such ease, it’s almost like having the festival right outside your hotel doors!
