You know what they say about old news? It’s just so boring. And that is why we are thrilled to update the Vancouver Global TV newsroom with the news about the ‘new lookBEST WESTERN PLUS Chateau Granville Hotel, the all-suite hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver.

Not only are we the premier hotel in Vancouver’s famed Entertainment District; we are now getting a facelift! We are soon to be the iconic building on Granville Street in downtown Vancouver! Never mind lumping us in with Vancouver’s ugliest buildings. That’s been done, old-school. We’re taking on a modern look, and continuing with our trend-setting professionalism that so many visitors compliment us on!

We look forward to astound you with our new look! For the past 2 months, crews have been working hard to paint the exterior of this 15 story high-rise hotel at the corner of Helmcken and Granville Streets in the center of downtown Vancouver.

In the past 4 years, the hotel has undergone extensive renovations, as well as the addition of the Edge Social Grille and Lounge on our Granville Street level. Yes, the Edge is sexy! Check out for yourself, if you’re wondering where to go this Friday night!
